The Cell Barnes Youth Project had a DJ Workshop and three guys from Soundbase brought along their decks for us to have a go at ‘MCing’.

At the start we learnt about drugs and what they can do to you. Then we got in to pairs and wrote a song or rap about drugs and what happens to you if you take them.

When we finished writing the rap we had a go on the decks. At the end we all recorded our songs and before we knew it was time to go! (James, aged 12)
